The air quality panel for Delhi-NCR enforced Stage 4 of the Graded Response Action Plan with strict curbs across the national capital after the Air Quality Index in Delhi was recorded in 'severe' category at 10 pm on Monday hours after GRAP III was imposed.

Delhi AQI Drops To 'Severe' Category; GRAP-4 Enforced In DelhiThe air quality index in the regions of Delhi-NCR was 379 at 4 pm but breached the 400 mark around 10 pm amid extremely calm winds and "buildup of an inversion layer adversely affecting the vertical mixing height", reported PTI.
