LOS ANGELES – The Filipino girl group 4th Impact, known for their electrifying performances and undeniable talent, is making waves once again as they campaign for a nomination in the category of Best Pop Duo or Group Performance at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards.
This comes after their remarkable journey as finalists on “The X Factor UK,” where their audition performance became the most viewed in the show’s history, capturing hearts around the globe.
Composed of sisters Celina, Almira, Mylene, and Irene Cercado, 4th Impact has recently relocated to the United States to pursue their American dream. Their journey from the Philippines to the global stage reflects their dedication and passion for music.

As they embark on this exciting chapter, their manager, Vic Perez, shared his enthusiasm: “I am excited for the girls as slowly but surely they are making their dreams a reality one show at a time.”
This October, as part of Filipino American History Month, 4th Impact has several performances lined up, including a special event on Oct. 20 at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles.
According to Perez, this red carpet affair, catered by Wolfgang Puck, will feature Grammy artists, influencers, and officials, creating a perfect platform to showcase their latest single, “Round and Round.”

On Oct. 26, the sisters will perform at the FilCom Center in Waipahu, Hawaii, where they will serenade the TOFA 2024 awardees and guests. This event will highlight their connection to the Filipino community and their commitment to celebrating cultural heritage through music.

The song, released in January this year, was co-written by the talented Nicolas Farmakalidis and Rachel West.
Farmakalidis, a multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated producer, is known for his work on popular films like Zoolander 2 and Coming 2 America.
Rachel West, an LA-based singer and songwriter, has also made her mark with versatile contributions to the music scene.
4th Impact’s original song, “Round and Round,” is an entry in the first round of voting for the 67th Grammy Awards.
This initial voting period will run from Oct. 4 to 15, with the official nominees to be determined by the Recording Academy’s voting membership, which includes producers, artists, songwriters, engineers and other music creators.
The official nominees list will be announced on Nov. 8, followed by final round voting from Dec. 12 to Jan. 3, to decide the winners in all categories. The Grammy Awards night is scheduled for February 2025 in Los Angeles.
